Hi This led me, as so many other things, to think of CF. Just my toughs, and yes, I have played a warrior. Søren Ps. Actually, the same should go with bloodlust. Doesn't make sense that you attack EVERYTHING in a rouse of blood, and then flee when you see your own.
I went to the movie yesterday. I saw the 13'Th warrior, and it was not as bad as I feared. After the movie my friends and me talked a bit, and we came up with two points.
1) They did NOT speak any Scandinavian language in the beginning, it was gibberish
2) The Vikings did not berserk.
Before I came to Thera with all my spare time, I played at another mud called the edge of darkness. When a warrior went berserk there, he REALLY went berserk. Not this wussy heal-self berserk as the Theranian warrior, No. We couldn't flee nor use any kind of return/transport potions (No problem here, can't quaff in battle). This meant berserk was a dangerous skill and very hard to master. But the benefit from berserk was enormous, if translated into CF it would, at hero, be something like +25/30. I liked this, and I think as berserk is now, it just a way for warriors to heal themselves, the armorclass penalty is not a thing to fear anyway.
