Donations are what keep the Empire strong, and the Empire will not help pay centurions of you do not pay the Empire. Hurry to the sect hall and donate all your gold and all items you posses. Last time I read something about this you should donate 15k per level you had optained. This is on of the hassles of the Empire, but you can donate items (Check the Item-page for value) and this makes it possible.
hrm.. back when i was an imperial i remember
that if you needed to donate.. they'd tell you
at least i remember the leader of my sect
telling me so...
time.. maybe things have changed..
