If you're running from galadon to NT, you could type all the directions in, and then you get lagged, someone attacks you and when you finally come through, you're stuck with about 60 directions that have to go through. If you normally got attacked, you'd stop trying to go east and actually start fighting back. Impossible. DIKU processes commands in a first-come-first-served basis, which means STOP wouldn't even be heard until after the other commands you spammed. Advice: don't spam (never know when you're going to be summoned or somesuch). > 2) a nickname command I realize that not all people have access to a mud client (play on a computer that isn't theirs to touch or something, etc.) but this "command" is a recipe for a huge headache, and I doubt any immortal is going to want to spend time on something that adds little actual value to the game. On a related note, I don't understand how CF allowing to set nicknames would encourage anyone to choose "names that actually sound goo[d]", but perhaps I'm slow.

> That would allow you to type "look bol" or "kill bol" That would force people to start coming up with names that actually sound goo rather than some name like "dfsjioncvdin"
