> And being grateful is not mutually exclusive with being critical. In this forum, it almost always is. The world is full of pretty ideas that work well in theory, but always fail in practice. > Once you take on the job of doing something - such as working on a mud, running a cabal, being a leader, whatever -- you must accept that people will expect you to do it well, or within some standards of reasonable competence. In my opinion, the people in question do their jobs within reasonable standards of competence. The main reason that I believe that the players as a whole have only a limited "right to bitch" is that being an immortal on CF is not something passed down through the generations by divine right of kings. If you think you know how to do the job better, you can get a character up to hero, immort, and do it. If you're unwilling, unable, or underqualified to put in the effort and do just that, haven't you forfeited much of your "right to bitch"? > Shame on you. There's plenty of shame to go around.
