Hey, I been playing CF for 6 months or so, and
the Knights cabal is before my time. However,
there seems to be much talk going around and
here I how I interpret Knighthood .. Knights
first of all, are living and feeding on HONOR.
A moral codex, that influeces all of their
actions, in battle, in clothings, how they
deal with other people etc. Neither
paladins or anti-paladins cannot join the ranks
of the Knights, since these too classes are too
rooted in the good/evil conflict to proberly
understand the concept of Honor. Knights should
be the smallest and toughest underdog cabal
in Thera, accepting only warriors and assassins.
They will not loot corpses they didnt kill.
They will not engage in spontanious battle unless
attacked themself.
They will not group with thiefs and might
have problems functioning in groups in general.

The question is, does these individuals fit into
a cabal? As it is, Knights are not dead .. they
just disbanded and the remaining few of these
extrordinary individuals worship Cador. And thats
prob the way it should be. Why? Becus, 1) there are
too few of them to form a cabal 2) They will have
a hard time fitting into the game 3) What
will they contribute with? They wont fit into
the classic CF conflict scenarios beteween
good/evil, magic/nature, law/order, battle/magic ..

Thats why KNIGHTS will not be re implemented as a
cabal. You want to be a Knight? Go ahead, find
Cador, and join the brotherhood. But .. forget
the Knights Cabal idear.
