Well everyone always says don't complain about some cabal or class until you've played it. Well, I have recently started playing my first Arbiter.

And let me tell you...it's the most fun that I've had playing CF. I'm telling you, it's amazing how many innocent people are in Thera. You can be standing, watching a guy appraise the situation, look at his foe, and strike him with a mallet on the forehead to initiate combat, but once he gets flagged OH MAN he didn't do it and the Arbiter Elders are going to get a note immediately.

It's just funny, I guess, how different things are when you play the other side of the coin. All my other chars hated Arbiters for one reason or another. Now I'm playing one?

And guys, there are a LOT of intricate details to the rules..but they're not clear-cut all the time. If an Arbiter tells you he can't continue with an investigation..let it be, he ain't going to touch it unless you come up with some witnesses. And if you get flagged chances are there was a good reason for it.

The Arbiter cabal as it is now deserves a lot of respect (and I'm now biased .. hmm) because it is not an easy job, and already I have had some really frustrating moments...but on the whole I'm having a blast and I guess that's the important thing.

OK so to end this rambling rampage, Imms - thanks for giving the Arbs a second chance, and players - it's harder than it looks. At least stay in character when you cuss us out.
