At first I was against the mere idea of vampires as a race or
appearing at all. After reading your post I think it might be
a fun thing to try. I'm still against them being a large race
that anyone can play, but I think perhaps a mid level quest of
sorts say at 35 or so that if successful would allow the character
to become one. The thought of compentent players becoming vampires
is a nice one. A land of eternal darkness is an interesting idea
as well. Give the goods something else to do besides serve as fodder
for the evil of the world :)
