I actually think maces really don't need dual wield. The other two you're right, but cranial and
boneshatter are far more important than drum. How heavy can felar's wield? There are a lot of
maces that are under 15, and most under 20.
>Dwarf warrior: Sure, you have a lot of hp. But you dodge like my grandmother and have less strength than a human. Vuln_water can haunt you. How Thror was as amazing as he was escapes me.
I never saw Thror, but dwarves in battle have a huge history. Svirfs are cheapening it, but the magical resistance they got, plus the save spell on pwent armor
is really great when you add in spellbane and everything else. The drowning vuln is really a cheap shot too. I think a dwarf warrior gets whipped by any high
dex fighter class, but the huge hp and magical resistance means you could absorb some nasty mage spells and really not sweat it. Maces is the best damage/control
spec around, so that helped Thror quite a bit. Other than lash, cranial is the only special I know of that works on flying/shielded and can lag as long as it
takes to perform. If it wasn't for the drowning, I'd play one as a non-villager though.
Far as I can tell, you get 17-20 hp a level as a dwarf with 25 con, and 14-18 with 22 or 23 con. Anyone have figures for a human or arial? I think dwarves should
get 18-22 if they have 25 con, trained up. You can't roll stuff like that, and part of the reason (I think) that 24 wis = 4 pracs, 25 = 6 is because you do have to
put a few trains into it to get that. The 125hp they gain at hero over someone with 22 or 23 con isn't much when you figure the other classes either get 30% weapon
resist and 25 str or several dex points.
