What do you mean by this? I don't see my suggested changes having much of an impact on how they are played. Basically everything I took away from them, I put back in another form.

Protection was replaced with Howl..
Blindness was replaced with Andras' Revenge
Deafen was replaced with the Ballad

Actually, each of these is an enhancement, not simply a replacement.

Shield block is the only thing that you could be speaking of, and that was removed for two reasons. First it doesn't feel right having a powerful angry hateful warrior hiding behind a shield. Second, it's a good way to make it harder to rank an anti-paladin (they can't tank very well without a shield) without hurting them too much in a pk situation (I've only rarely used a shield when pk'ing with an AP).

The rest of the junk I suggested removing basically was just replicates of other classes abilities..

Finally, you mention their surplus of sure-kill things to try. What were you refering to? Cleave? Sleep? .. the only truely dangerous ability I suggested was madness, and that is more dangerous to the AP than anyone else.

Casting madness would basically be a last resort of an AP, as it would leave him at the mercy of his opponents. Not to mention, allowing yourself to be basically bloodthirsted and forced to wander around attacking everything, encluding big mobs.

Anyway, let me know why you think they should become more defensive, and what you think is a sure-kill for them. I've always seen AP's as the ultimate in offensive ability, with little care for defense.
