Niblaznackers response to, um, "triple-lip pigpoot" got me thinking... In the future, I'd love to see more race-specific abilities for different classes.

Why a drow ap gets such shit mana per level, with full int, is beyond me. I don't know about elf-paladins, but i'm sure it's the same. Woops, consider this your bonus rant.

If high-int / low str/con races like elves and drow are so tough to play for non-mages, how about beef up these races mana-per level for these classes and offer a few mana-using skills that they'd excel in more than a human or duergar, OR:

Maybe some classes could have more race only abilities?

Say, the guild of the Anti-Paladin in the drow city (not the literal guild) has focused on the chaotic magics of some of the other mage classes, like conjurers, or maybe since those drow are so thieving, a drow ap can get a weakened steal or a cool skill like "plant" where they can slip a poisoned jerky in someone's inventory.

For felars, well, magic is pretty new there, give em a ranger-like or warrior skill others wouldn't have, like maybe, when the cast iron grip, they learn to use their claws so that if anyone is dumb enough to try to disarm their weapon, they get hurt bad.

Elven paladins - these should be a playable class, and with such a fat xp penalty, should be worth it at hero. Give them a form of dodge, or a supplication type of spellcraft or improved meditation.

Any ideas for other class/race combos? Stereotypically weak or strong?
