Since most of you like to complain about arbiters and really have no understanding of them. Let me give you a little hint about an Evil Arbiter, and how they should be played. First of all, they do not care a bit about you or anyone else besides themselves. Laws are a tool to keep them powerful and you weak. They do not care about protecting your stupid ass in town. In fact, they want you to get attack. They want you to die and get looted by the person. Now they can killed that person and get both sets of equipment. Arbiters are not protectors of your dumb ass. They are executioners. They do it all in the name of order. Fat chance if an evil arbiter really believes that. He is just a power hungry fool looking to increase his power while taking yours.

Now, with this in mind when it comes to flagging your stupid ass. As an evil arbiter, I never really cheated and did something clearly against the rules like flagging someone that just killed my other character in town. Granted, some people do that. But as an evil arbiter, I did bend the rules from within the game. I.e....using as little evidence as possible to convict people because to me that was how I increased my power. Maybe disregarding a certain witness because at the time, I did not want a certian person a criminal unless it was overwhelming evidence.. That is where an evil arbiter makes his money. And guess what? It is not cheating and you can bitch and whine all you want. Yes, it is poor judgement. Not once did I ever randomly flag someone. The case always had to be presented to me by someone, from there I did what I wanted by believing who I wanted. Afterall, 90% of the people that play do not really follow ethos. Now if it was some obvious dipshit making a false claim, esp a baron, I would throw the case out but for the most part I usually convicted 90% of the people and usually tricked them into meeting where I could kill them before I wanted them. So please people do not complain if an arbiter bends the rules, as long as it is not obvious cheating like multi-playing. Remember, they want to see you Flagged
