(Sorry, Nepenthe, but that still makes me chuckle.)

I think most people would agree that a true lich should be one of the most powerful forces to be reckoned with in Thera. One of. ONE OF>(Does his best PeeWee Herman impression and rolls his eyes and yells "One OF" until he realizes nobody is laughing and he continues his post.)

I agree with all you said about what a lich should mean. But at the same time...what about a hero paladin?

What about somebody that doesn't take the 'easy' path of killing whatever will make you stronger? A paladin, a true paladin, who devotes him/herself to doing what's right. Which means gaining ranks and not only fending off the millions of bloodthirsty idiots who will kill anything that walks (including lich wannabees), but also lending a helping hand every once in a while. Should such a soul (a noble soul embiggins the smallest man, remember) be given at least the same sort of cosmic power and divine rights and whatnot as some creature wrought from the pits of hell itself! Hell, I'm a wacky guy, and I like to see the nastiest ugliest shit that can be wrought from blood sacrifices and babies thrown into a pit of fire and whatnot. However, I also like to see, (or at least some tiny part of me) would like to see the powers of good and hope prevail. But what's a boy to think when he is bombarded by what a cf lich can do, and what a cf paladin can(t) do. I'm not saying paladins should run about killing everything they see with one fell swoop. Yet..shouldn't they be able to take on the evil in Thera? I mean, if they can't....who can?

I for one would like to see hero paladin's something close to divine beings...not really interfering with mere mortals..but boy, spit at an old woman, and you'll face a mean bastard.

Also, I'm wondering, if perhaps, it is, in fact, butter.
