Despite Nepenthe's claim to paladins being equal to other classes at any rank...I'll take a necro at ANY rank over a paladin. my point is this. Yeah, becoming is hard. It SHOULD be, as necro's have arguably some of the best powers in the game considering they don't need empowerment.
Yes, Proud blade, becoming is harder than empowerment, I'll grant you that. Now, based on that...how many paladins, and I don't care who empowered them, can walk up to a lich and spit in their eye? I don't care if the becoming is nigh impossible...at least it's a possibility...and what does a paladin get to fight that? One word..."quit".
