To be honest, if i had a hero paladin right now, I have no idea how I would take down a lich who had half a brain. But that may be because I am simply not that good.

Now, you admit in your other posts that you aren't exactly a master at the game. I agree with Harandor's point above: There are no top-notch paladins in Thera right now. Everntien was mediocre at fighting, and couldn't RP worth a damn. The others haven't made great impressions on me either. When a solid, solid paladin comes around, this debate may be changed. When a Paladin roleplays well enough (equivalent to the Becoming), and knows the game as well as your average Lich does, I would imagine they could get some sort of nifty reward from above.

That being said, I can think of several other liches that were sent packing by paladins- just not Zorszaul. He's more effective in many ways. And the other liches were no slouches. But right now, Zorszaul is the best of the best, and I cannot think of -any- one character that could reliably take him down, paladin or otherwise.

My advice:

Wear him out. When he logs on, gather up your goodie friends and go for his throat. Try some new tactics- see what he can and cannot stop. Try to damage his equipment. Summon his undead if you can. Run the instant it looks like you are going to be beaten, regroup, and try a different angle. Hound him, hound him, hound him. Enlist others to help you. Tell everyone you can every time you see him somewhere. Try and figure out his patterns- where he goes, where he doesn't. One day, he'll screw up, and the instant you take him down (and loot him), his power is slashed. Burn, phylacteries, burn. Before that day, you might die several times to him. But you'll have a lot of fun trying.

The worst thing you can do: Type 'quit'. It's exactly what he wants you to do.

> Yes, Proud blade, becoming is harder than empowerment, I'll grant you that. Now, based on that...how many paladins, and I don't care who empowered them, can walk up to a lich and spit in their eye? I don't care if the becoming is nigh impossible...at least it's a possibility...and what does a paladin get to fight that? One word..."quit".
