Ok. I made this point.
Let it be at least possible for lightwalkers and darkwalkers to stand toe to toe.
People disagreed with me saying: Liches deserve power, Paladins don't, Paladins shouldn't be able to stand up to liches.
I would like to mention that at no point did I specifically mention Paladins. I never said they should get some super powerfull form, I never said they sucked, I even said I really enjoyed the paladins I played.
All I said, was that it would be cool if it was *possible* for a good aligned char to have the same amount of power that is *possible* for Evil chars.
Never did I say that it should be easy, or automatic. Never did I say that it should be paladins.
Right now it is possible for an evil char to gain so much power that they are virtually unkillable except by mobs who's only chance is to catch him off guard. I do agree that the Becoming, and the ranking to 47, and the quest are ROUGH, and that if a Necro passes all these tests, they deserve the power they get.
But is there the same possibility for a lightwalker? Even if it was much harder for the Light, I think it would be awesome for there to be at least the possibility.
No, I do not think that in order to do this, they would have to make paladins powerfull, or give them an archangle form, making Liches not unique. I think that with the amount of shear imagination in the Current Imm staff, they could come up with something.
Not saying they should, just saying they could, and if they did, it would be cool.
