Be careful with generalizing all of Battle like that. As Proud blade mentioned, there are some of us who grasp the role, and stick to the Rager commandments. Not ALL ragers fight without honor, and gangbang. Unfortunately, there are some who lie about their honor during the interview and slip through the cracks. I like proud blade's idea about the Battle Imms crack down on violators. Since the time Klaak was first inducted, through his death, Pleckis's induction and death, I know of only a small handful of people who have been kicked out for good. I know of several people who were kicked temporarily but got back in later. I know that there have been a few who got the boot, but no one knew about it until after it happened. Personally, I think that if a rager consistantly breaks the commandments, they should get booted, and branded with a title to show thier dishonorable acts. That should be enough to discourage the idiots from getting out of line.

To those ragers/rager wannabes causing the trouble, as was mentioned, Battle has pretty much straightforward rules which should be incredibly easy to stick to if you put a small effort into it. At low-mid ranks, mages are not difficult to kill for the most part, especially with rager powers. I personally don't see why anyone would think that they HAVE to gang-bang such a mage to kill them. So a mage might get away once in a while, so what? Just get back on your feet and go after them again. Eventually you'll manage to keep them in the fight long enough to finish them off. I don't think there is going to be anyone in Battle that's going to critisize you because a mage managed to escape before you could kill it. But I garrentee that you will be strung up if the rest of the cabal finds out about it. Just keep that in mind when you apply. The ragers don't exist so that you have an excuse to go around pk'ing anyone you want, or in whatever way you want. There is a great role behind the ragers and just like anything else in the game, there can be alot of depth to the character, even if it's not apparent to everyone. If there are subtle parts to you role which wouldn't normally be apparent, try to make them visable with the role command so that confusion is avoided. An action that would normally be critisized by everone because no one knew the truth behind it, might be highly commended by the imms when it's made apparent why you did that in your role. Who gives a fuck about what the player base percieved it as. All they know is what their character can see, as it should be. Hell, if you want to play a char who believes in killing magi at any cost, go for it! Battle will not stand in your way. Just don't expect to play such a char and be a member of Battle as well, cause that just doesn't float. If all you want to do is pk mindlessly, join Empire, or don't join any cabal. Either way, Battle is not the place for you. Just a bit of advice.
