I love how people decide to come to this board and show us all how to do it, when some of us have probably tried some (or even all) of these. And yet, you didn't even give us the benefit of the doubt that we might know more than you, you simply strutted forth with your ideas (maybe ONE of which would have ANY chance of success).

Big deal. If he really needs his pets, he can get them. Most likely, though, he won't.

> 2) A Warder to insect plague him.

Yeah make him use up that orb of travel (or something else) woo woo!

> 3) A couple of thieves to follow him around for a day or so before the attack and steal all his inventory on a regular basis.

That'd piss him off...he's got some nice shit in his inventory. But do you think MAYBE someone has already peeked to see if he has containers in his inventory? (There are containers that can be worn...rings, bracelets, robes, belts, etc...not stealing those, are you?)

> 4) An invoker, healer, and a trannie for prep spells.

Yeah, this is pretty much a must, I'll give you this one. It's insanely obvious, but it is a must.

> 5) Two-three warriors who can either cranial or misdirect while others lash with whips.

This would be nice to have, as well, but now you're talking about a gangbang of 3 warriors, an invoker, a transmuter, a healer...and you still don't have your summoner in the picture. Do you really think Zorszaul isn't going to go into that bunch fully prepped?

> After the thieves grab as many wands and phylacteries as they can, have get the lich away from his pets. Then fight him like a creature from Hell except use all lagging attacks. Use normal weapons as he may be shielded/rightous and just lag him to death.

You're trying to re-use the thing that killed Istendil, because you seem to think that Zorszaul and Istendil fight the same and think the same...not the case.

My main point of this isn't to say Zorszaul can't be defeated. He can. I can think of ways, but most involve wild scenarios that he likely wouldn't let himself get trapped in. I think he can be defeated, yes. But I don't think he will be.
