For a hero necromancer, killing some guy and chopping up his corpse is as easy as taking candy from a baby. (Cast 'power word kill' level42paladin; get all corpse; do the phylactery thing)

And just to link this post with the original topic, I agree completely with you on the uniqueness-of-becoming front. Rome, I remember a couple of times before when you suggested something like this, and they were always shot down. What we need is an idea for beefing up goodies while keeping them storm paladins or whatever - no saints, angels, avatars, sphinxes, or what have you. I think, for what my opinion's worth ($0.02) that quest skills are the way to go.
