The thing about the lowbie disrespectin the hero isn't about whether or not a person should have respect for someone he hates. The point is that if you want good rp, you shouldn't do that because the only thing that stops that hero from whompin' on your ass is game mechanics (i.e. that hero would kick your ass so f*ckin' hard that there would be flames galore on this forum). Sure, that little drow shouldn't be fawning over any elf, but he shouldn't be spitting in his face either. One way to think about this is...take away all the pk ranges and have anybody be able to kill anybody else. Let's see how many level 1 guys are going to run up to a hero and puke all over him then.
