In my opinion, the Cult will die out as a cabal sometime in the future, much as shadow did even tho shadow was far more popular. The religion will continue of course, but it's members dwindle, how many are there now? What, 3-5 members that I can think of seeing in the last month, with only Ingvar showing regularly. Also, learning the religion, without some OOC knowledge it is difficult learn of it, the Sacraa is vague at best. With no members around to ask, and of those most not willing to help... how can you expect to learn of the religion. Even if they convice you to see the truth they still wont even take the time to explain it. At least in my experience.

It has always been the case that admission into religions on CF has been tough, since anyone bearing the tattoo of an Immortal acts as a direct representative of that Immortal. I suppose we could start a tattooing frenzy and mark everyone that wants in, but I seriously doubt that would serve the CF populace, story, or role-play environment.
I did not forget it is also a religion, i just failed to mention it.

Perhaps you are right, but having been tattooed before I thought this would at least be a possibility. Maybe I was hard on myself, perhaps I am above average, perhaps not. Either way I roleplay enough to get in, it's just the way the Cult's values seen to change from Voice to Voice.

Those that have joined the Cult and thought it'd be a big, happy, Scarab family have been disappointed, and probably shouldn't have made it through the screening process in the first place. It's a tough role to take and yes, a lot of the odds are against you in taking it.
I can think of quite a few who shouldn't have made it thru, kinda makes me wonder how the hell they got in.
