Quest for each of the high level skills and also to perfect them. I remember having to visite the Swordsmaster on the Mesa. He was invis, and being able to detect invis was not for the common man at this mud. You needed items and they were few. To get holy word as a Paladin you had to visite the captured Paladin at the graveyard. Major pain since you had to fight a lich to get to him (meaning we had to around 5 players to do it). To get the end spells of druids we had to travel acros some swamps with deathtraps. It was like this with most really good spells and skills and it was very fun trying to get the groups together to visite the 'Masters'.
