Chances are you are Conderakias and are 'calling' the Immortal(s), on his/their 'official' word that the becoming is all chance ... hoping Conderakias has a fair shot with Zorszaul still about.
The Immortals watch what we do, and are trying to create a colorful world, your deduction/assumptions are correct ... about how many Liches run about, what cabals they belong to, how well roleplayed the given Spectre is, all of it.
But, knowing all this, will it help? Putting out the 'word' on the forum, will it help? Is the Immortal having a bad day when you meet the elven lich cleric? Will Avendalla(sp?) take the attention away from Conderakias for the next Lich allowed (probably, she is awesome)? Who knows, have a peach.
