Where I played before there was ships to some other islands. It toke about 7 min. RT to travelle from one place to another. This time could almost only be sepnd roleplaying. Time very well spend. The boat would come twice a day, and stay in the harbor for two houres, and then depart. You had to buy tickets to get on (Or beat the shit out of the sailor), and it was always a rush to catch the boat RIGHT before the tick, that way escaping dead to a big group of players and/or Mobs. It was a clean way to escape. Had loads of fun on the boat. I want a boat, bring back the boats.
