This lawyer guy is pretty much correct in what he is saying.
That to a lawful evil, what he is saying about the law is the most obvious way of taking the law.
Do I think the Imms meant them to be taken like this? no.
Should someone be punished for taking them like this, and roleplaying the reasons (ie. not just being a bloodthirsty bitch), no.
If the Imms wish to say that this is NOT, under any circumstance, how the law should be interpreted, then the wording of the law should be changed.
On the other hand, the stuff he is pointing out on the forum is not "NEW". I had the same kinds of interpretations going with my few imperials... And none of them were anethed. Given that, I think that perhaps the general wording of the Impirial law is intended.
What I do NOT agree with, is this lawyer touting these interpretations as "proof" that the imms were wrong in anething people.
I am willing to bet my sweet bippy that in all of those situations, the people would have been anethed if they broke the law or not...ie. they were anethed for not rping an empirial, or for being a dumbass, or for lieing to an imm, or for other reasons where it would be perfectly ok for an imm to aneth someone....they just used the form of "breaking the law" as the "reason".
