It's a good point. Servants of the Dawn don't all have to be the 'Selrician' types (though there's even a misconception about my followers...non-aggressive doesn't mean pacifist, but that is an entirely different discussion) The Servants of the Dawn are based around restoring hope and faith and being servants to the Light, traditionally in a non-aggressive way. If there is anyone out there who is thinking of making an 'aggressive dawnie' these are the guidelines that I and the other cabal immortals would be judging you by. You could bust as many heads as you wanted, provided that your main goal was to bring hope and faith for the Light to Thera.
What does this mean playing wise? Simply put...if you're in the middle of a fight, about to make the kill in the next few rounds and a level 1 goodie wandered off and got stuck in the mouth of Galadon. You flee out and go help. It also means that you actually rp looking for alternative methods of dealing with evil sword slingers....regardless of whether you do or not, roleplay it.
