Also, many other characters would not be petty enough to seek revenge. Dawnies shouldn't be running around trying to make other people suffer for their sins... they should be trying to talk them into forsaking the evil in their hearts. But sometimes Dawnie players aren't so Lawful Good, so they vent their frustrations here.

It's quite obvious that most people buy into the cute/cuddly Dawnies who sit and sip tea with dark-elf murders and torturers in the Inn stereotype, but I'll tell you that it's by no means necessary to be this way. Everybody expects Dawnies to sit back and take their punishment, keep plugging cons into their dwindling con, and do it all with a smile on their face. I KNOW that the immortals of Dawn do not expect this. Lord Selric once said, as two dawnies were debating their differing views, that Servants aren't just axes or just shields, they can be like a staff-a great defensive weapon but also one that can inflict pain when the situation calls for it.

An aggressive dawnie is probably the easiest way to break the dawnie cookie-cutter, but it's also incredibly difficult to pull off successfully and calls for great roleplay. Of course, you can't be out slaughtering people while there are lightwalkers in need, but during your "off hours" there's no reason why you can't go out and bang a few heads.
