I played two Marans and they were the most exinting characther I played. But you need to have one of the three sphere protected by SHokai. I'm not trying to advertize for the Maran by the way. Just get a nice role and live through it, intereract as much as you can with others and I am sure you will end up where you belong. I'm now playing an imperial and let me tell you that even with the bad odds with ragers the Empire is facing these days, it is still easier then being a Maran. Anyway, it is all up to you.
