I have just gotten my connection upgraded from the 56en
N-soon-to-be-64cabel. Still at times I find I lag due to my connection. This is often when I download something or surf at the same time (Yea .. I know, don't) and this leads me to my question. Is there a program that can take control of my connection to the internet and the programs that uses the net, so I could alocate, say, 1/4 of my link at all times to zMUD ?

I have looked at tucows and shareware.com but haven't found anything that seems to does this for me. Help help,
