Immortals. The bane of CF. I must be bored to respond to this.

> First, he was playing the enforcer, not an immortal.

Ok. Enforcer. You're in Galadon. We're on the same page.

> Am I to bow to any mob that talks to me because I know he's being played by an immortal?

I say (resoundingly) "No".

On the other hand, I might bow to a mob that was a lot more powerful than me. I remember sitting in the Galadon necromancer guild once (yeah, I was a necromancer) and the guildmaster started hinting that he wanted this piece of equipment I had (I was like 20th level and knew he could kick my ass if he wanted). Faced with the decision of how to handle that, I doubt I would have taunted him. Fortunately, I talked my way out of the situation.

> Are you serious? I have news for you, it's not really an immortal playing him, it's a real person like you and me who sometimes pretends to be an immortal.

Actually, several of the immortals truly are immortal; I know you'll doubt me in saying that, but... well, I've seen the proof.

> This time he wasn't pretending to be an immortal, but the enforcer. And in his own words, (paraphrase) 'I am here to uphold the city laws'.

As opposed to arbiter law. Notice that the Enforcer fights in town all the time (the Slayer) and kills criminals and isn't an Arbiter. See my post about Udgaard below.

> Yes, I prodded him on purpose, and guess what? He broke role because of it.

How so? See above.

> I would expect to be killed if I spoke that way to an immortal, but as I said, he was the enforcer. Or perhaps you can justify a lawful entity there to uphold the law killing someone for annoying him.

I think you're confusing law with arbiter law with Law. All three are different. For example, Lawful characters aren't considered to have dropped their role by breaking arbiter law (I assume this is obvious to anyone that's every watched the Empire).

> Bria should banish him from Thera for putting his pride above the Law.

I think the Enforcer's a chick. Anyway, maybe you should see if the arbiter lords will do away with him. An IC solution is far more interesting than whining on a forum somewhere.
