What I am about to talk about maybe obvious, hell,
even pointless, but here it is anyway. For the
newbies out there, this is for you.
I think that it's important to know that if you're
just starting, which classes and cabals you should
pick. Of course cabal wise, there's the matter
of how hard it is to rp. As for class, there's
a varying degree on how fast and easy you can level.
What I would like to address is how easy it is for
each class to gear and knowing what to gear up for
in order to be effective in PK. Of course it also
depends on what level you are. Invoker without
shields would gear differently than one with.
Anti
Empire: str, dam
Assn
Empire: str, dam
Battle: more saves than empire
Bard
Empire: gear like empower class, a good balance
Battle: more saves, mana, hp
Conj
Master: hp, mana, more mana than other conj

Drui
Sylvan: hp, mana, svs, dam
Heal
Empire: more hp than other healers
Invo
um, mages are pretty much set on what
they wear
Necr
more hps, maledictions don't cost much
Pala
good balance
storms need more mana, elf needs more hp and dam
Rang
Battle: svs, dam
Sylvan: dam, hp, svs
Sham
more hp and mana than a paladin would gear
Thie
more hit than warrior
Tran
more prog gear for arcane
hp, mana
Warr
Empire: dam, str, svs
Battle: svs, str, dam
um, I'm prolly wrong, please correct me.
This is, however, based on alot of suppositions.
One of which is that Sylvan mages don't come
around enough to make a difference. Maybe
some are coming. For the most part, the fights
have been between battle and empire/master..so
one should gear accordingly. As for dawn, one
would assume to wear more hp for the use of powers.
As for the bar people, um, they don't count :p
Arbiters should gear like they're uncaballed..heh.
As for Scarab, you shouldn't be reading this since
it's almost impossible for a newbie to get in.
