Great follow up with some very interesting
insights. Let me try to go into further
detail to help you understand.
I was able and did see what Kellyn was doing.
Going over the log again on the forum you
can see that he was asked a specific question
by an immortal of the BATTLE cabal. Instead
of stopping what he was doing (going camo and
regarding the immortal he was speaking to)
he continued to search for foes to hunt.
According to the first Commandment on the
Tablet the mortal leader and immortal leaders
of battle deserve one's utmost respect. I
saw a lack of that when he did not stop what
he was doing to deal with the matter at hand.
I did single Kellyn out, because what he was
doing was 'wrong'. If it means making an
example of him so that everyone in the
village learns from his mistake, that is the
cost. I also mentioned to him that I was
merely making a point. I see no excuse for
any BattleRager, given the powers that they
have, to constantly be asking for 'help' over
the cabal channel.
You are right, he deleted quite fast. Again,
that choice, and the choice to play a
stubborn character who is not willing to
accept an immortal pointing out a mistake he
made, is his decision. He has to live with
the consequences of his choices.
There was no precendent with Kellyn. Thror
acted on something that he saw did not fit
the standards of the cabal. The point of
'interfering' and speaking to him was to
enlighten him of his mistake so that he did
not do it in a scenario which may cause him
getting booted from the cabal...
example: Giddion/Rezkirat's actions.
The point of commenting here and interacting
with Kellyn was to point out what a rager
should 'not' do. Kellyn was taking on mages
with servitors and armies, but he was also
asking for help with 1) Zombies he could
kill himself. 2)Oromous he could kill
himself. The matter had nothing to do with
honor, it did have something to do with his
Courage and how he chose not to show it
(by asking for help). I do believe a bit
of editing was done as well to cover up the
fact that it was his courage in question,
not his honor.
Please comment more if this fails to answer
any questions.
