Here's what I know and if I'm right this is also why I am reluctant to role a necro. Once I get to rank 47 (Spectre) I go see a necro guildguard some place and we talk. He tells me to make up this nasty drink made up of shit I have to scour all of Thera for. Now if I a) can't find one or some of the ingredients or b) don't do within a specified amount of time I die? Or if I do find all the shit but mix it wrong or if I add the wrong ingredient and drink it anyway I die? If I do everything right is there a chance the potion will still kill me? If I'm right it would kind of such to spend the time required to make really good necro only to make it to Lichedom because you screwed up your potion. Thoughts on this?
