> Here's what I know and if I'm right this is also why I am reluctant to role a necro. Once I get to rank 47 (Spectre) I go see a necro guildguard some place and we talk. He tells me to make up this nasty drink made up of shit I have to scour all of Thera for. Now if I a) can't find one or some of the ingredients or b) don't do within a specified amount of time I die? Or if I do find all the shit but mix it wrong or if I add the wrong ingredient and drink it anyway I die? If I do everything right is there a chance the potion will still kill me? If I'm right it would kind of such to spend the time required to make really good necro only to make it to Lichedom because you screwed up your potion. Thoughts on this?
To play a necromancer to hero is a feat. It requires a lot of knowledge of Thera and a lot of patience and more than a little luck. I know because i have never been successful in completeing my elixir. If you want a challenge to your ability to stay alive, know the realm, and roleplay, then do it. If you are not ready to be hunted by everyone who is not your cabal plus the ragers and every paladin there is...not comfortable that you can search the realms for the items you need to find ( and do not hink the quest is easy)..and not ready to deal with other therans in a method besides trying to murder everyone you see all the time ( until after you lich..), well you get my point. Just remeber that the greater the challenge the sweeter the victory.
