Hi, this isn't really a rant or anything, but it's more to the point: kill the quiet mechanism on CF.
If people want to actively refuse interaction, that's something that goes against the spirit of this being a roleplaying-intensive game. Give the power to Immortals or something, or make some special rooms (immortal rooms, whatever) quiet rooms, where people can speak. I do think the 'tell' system is in need of change, though. I like the idea of 'tell', but I think there should be somewhere where people can go if they wish the quiet mechanism on - not as some mechanism to conceal bad roleplaying, like it's very often used.
