I also examined the new paladins. On the base level, they appear as useless as you seem to think also.
However, to counter, I selected the shield dedication. On a regular basis, sure, you will still get
hammered. As for "supplications" being limited.. Well.. All I can tell you there is, you haven't
really discovered anything yet. They are out there, and quite.. interesting.
