I roleplay as if I have never been somewhere unless someone leads me there.

The goodside is, its 'real' roleplay.

The bad side is, there are ALOT of elitist players that run around knowing ALL about all the areas of Thera, and if you are grouped, and 'play' dumb, I know some of them take you for a newbie, and it hurts your chances of getting into cabals and the like.

And I see it all the time. As an elf I walked silently into a room where some 'wickedly' knowledgeable 'players' were playing characters that knew all the items of certain opposing cabal members (sylvan) and began listing them out so another mage could do locate spells to see if the camouflage sylvans were in the realm.

Now, maybe the 'character' happend to look at the cabal member one day. And maybe that's a feather sticking out of my arse :)

Just me wondering about the good and the bad, and noticing the difference between good players and elitist players.
