The game is not perfect. That's why the IMMs have coders to do revamps, additions, and bug fixes. What I like about CF is that the game constantly evolves, and consistently seems to get better the more it's tinkered with.
The fuel for these changes comes from ideas. The source might be the IMM's imagination, a book they read, or even *gasp* an idea on the Forum. (As an example, people have been asking for months to have ghosts be able to pass centurions. Now, they can. (I don't claim to know the project's history, but it seems like a simple enough change, and the idea has been bounced around on the Forum for a long time.)
The absolute worst thing for CF would be the IMM staff got together and said "Everything's perfect. Don't touch it." Constant re-examination of the way things work in Thera keeps it at the level of excellence it is at. Even though I don't think the original poster's ideas were right for CF, telling people not to post ideas is a bad, bad thing. Forums are for discussion. The bad ideas will be shot down long before they reach Thera.
