adsl thru swbell is not considered a dedicated connection... hence no static IP unless you pay extra for it...it doesn;t matter where the domain is.. as long as the zone file points to some IP. I highly doubt the domain relates to the connection.. as they did not give me that option when i inquired about their packages.. oh.. and just because the domain is registered does not mean "the domain" has an IP with it.. the IP only deals with connection..
