Yet they have not improved once. And the benifits From the skills seem to hold little benifit. I perfected all the two-handed dedication skills. It is not too hard to do, it is worth it, but I was still a bit let down. >I tested every single skill on a willing party to see the outcome, Nothing that ive gathered so far comes close to the gains recieved from dedicating shield. You'd better check your results. With the two handed skills, I can see myself beating just about any other player without even communing. > Some suggestions for the immortals:
Actually, just 'decent' two handed weapons are easy to come by. Try locating 'two'. The real problem is finding a noremove two handed weapon above avg 26. Getting disarmed can really ruin your day.
> - Make some of the current standing weapons two handed. - They already did that.
> - Allow the dedicated Two-handed weapon skills to be used by other weapons. - I don't think this is necessary.
> - Utilise Polearm , Id expected to see its use in the dedication. - I agree there should have been a shafted weapon dedication.
> - Give a similar bonus to parry for the dedicated two-handed weapon paladins, as you did for the shield blockers. Or perhaps a dodge ability. -There are subtle advantages. I don't like the fact that the two-handed dedication looks like crap until you analyze the statistics in combat.
> - ease up the learning rate on the skills. -Its fine, keep plugging away.
> - Perhaps make some of the skills passive -Mmmm..passive skills...we can dream, cant we?
> - Perhaps have sub help files on the skills avalible. Haveing a skill and seeing a message followed by some damage isnt usefull if you dont know what it truely does. -It would be nice on a few, its kinda tough to ask that duergar AP what your hiltsmash did to him.
I felt the exact same way you do. I even posted a note here flaming the two-handed dedication. Of course, I feel differently now. There isn't anything really wrong with the dedication but I think shield dedication is alot better for most players, even the ones who want to be more offensive.
