I'm guessing this guy hasn't set foot in Hamsah Mu'Tazz, or perhaps only long enough to realize that New Thalos isn't there any more. The town's general layout is: A) Very similar to New Thalos, on a "macroscopic" scale. If you know your way around NT, you're halfway there. It's well worth exploring. Lots of "special" stuff, hidden items/containers, nifty things for sale, interesting mobs, and unique room descriptions. Turn off brief mode, kids. And the "starter" map costs 15 coins, if I remember right. I'm sure even guy who started this thread could dig that up.
B) A lot smaller than several other towns, as far as the street map. (It seems to have a lot more quiet nooks and crannies, including a lot of locked doors, and places like the Sultan's Palace that aren't open just yet. But the street map isn't so sprawling.)
C) Arbies beware! Very conducive to PKing, in my opinion. The gates, the number of lockable rooms, the lack of straight roads, and the number of less-than-obvious rooms... all of these can be exploited, especially by a summoner.
