Tho the Immortal who replied was correct in some areas, He missed some of my points due to my poor english. Anyway im replying to this thread. If you have been manacled yourself of late you might notice that running isnt as easy as it seems, unless you have a stack of teleport potions. Manacles Eats your Movement so badly. If you stuck to roads you might be able to run from one town to another perhaps a third. But by then your up the creek on moves. Yes you can refresh at a healer in a town, or munch vitamins, or refresh potions, or use a recall or teleport potion. The Immortal who spoke was extremly correct I've played characters that are wanted dam often, and with my last invoker think that I might have held a wanted flag longer than anyone(almost 300 game hours - without dying). I know the full affects of trying to run and I know that It can be done if you prep each time. Yes I agree with the immortal that arbiters with guards often are "hunting criminals". But they dam often use that as a excuse as well to flag anyone who touches them. Granting them the power to flag anyone who attemps to pk them (which 95% of the time results in a death) whilst a criminal is in the realms I think is a joke. It is as the immortal said you know what your getting into. But I also think that The laws of the lands only apply within towns. If you find a arbiter outside of town and summon pk them, It should be a legit kill your not in a law enforced area, The ARBITER was the one at fault. He should have been the one who was more carefull. After all haveing two guards with him is a exceptional bonus when in a pk. Also The immortal said try being a mage raiding against a berserker. I've been a tranny, invoker, and a necro fighting against berserkers, yes they hurt yes they can be killed It isnt hard at all. However Those arbiters must understand that as soon as they touch the cabal guardian, all their laws fall to shit in respect of their protection. With my last rager I saw a certain fire a-p flag 6 people who was in his pk after they riped him apart cause he attacked the giant, his excuse was that we were aiding a criminal. ARBITER IS A CABAL. There should be no funky perks for them. If there are then ragers should be able to kill mages in town and get no flag, as well as vice versa, Empires should be able to kill lightwalkers in town and get no flag and vice versa. The limits should be set clearly by the imms apon what they can and cannot do with laws in situations.
