Rarely do you miss the point of a post by so far blade.... I didn't want to use the phrase "it's just a game" but I should of to be more clear.... My point was it's retarded to infer somebody might be an immoral person if they use ooc info on the GAME carrionfields... I have no problem with cheaters being punished. I appreciate their work quite a bit as well but don't make them sound so magnanimous about it... they do this for enjoyment like the rest of us... they aren't slaving about just for our entertainment. This forum seems to be quite the place for extremes... Immortals aren't always right, Immortals aren't always wrong, in fact they're rarely wrong... but never rule out the possibility. I suppose that's another string, i'll be quiet now. > The IMMs spend a lot of time creating and maintaining the dynamic environment that is CF. They do it for free. All they ask of you is that you obey a one page list of rules. As long as you do that, you get to play for free. > Why is this difficult? Why -should- they let people play who cheat, and cheapen the game for other people? > Feel free to answer, my anonymous friend. > > > > It is much preferable to people in different cabals or playing independent characters sharing info with people ooc they would never be able to ic. > > > How about trying to play independant characters that don't share ooc info? If you sit and play cards with some friends, is it a great effort not to cheat by sending signals, etc? If so, then you have a morality question to face, not a CF question. > > Cause clearly, people who share ooc info sometimes are completely immoral human being who should be put away.... don't be so harsh eh?
