Raise rager induction to 25 or 30, impose weapon, dodge, parry, shield block, hand to hand and one other skill of your choosing perfection requirements and then ASSIGN berserker/defender/scout positions to people. This way you have a more even representation of people in each section.

You raise the induction level and impose the perfection requirements so that people will be less prone to deleting if they get assigned to being a scout or defender.

It's also good to have even representation so that the imms have a better idea of what tweaks need to be made. If only idiots are playing defenders than the imms can attribute defender problems to the idiots playing them, but if relatively decent people are playing defenders and they still suck the imms might take a closer look.

In any event, allowing your place to be chosen will NEVER provide the number of scouts and defenders that the village really needs.
