you cant assign people positions... their roles generally fit well with one path and not the others (and people design them that way for a reason). eg Mag was sphere destruction, he didnt have alot of patience and would always run into the fight. It would have been a complete disservice to that character to force him to be a scout or defender (that and no fire giant has enough mana to be an effective defender). I found from the interviews, it was pretty obvious which path people were going to choose, and the only time I tried to get someone to choose defender it turned out thats what they wanted anyway. maybe I should create me a defender... I never regretted having my assassin as a scout.
