Well, why don't you play a Shield Spec, then?:

I'm happy with my 2h spec.

I would rather have the 2h skills than a pure damage skill that lags me two rounds. But you're right, maybe the shield spec skills should work less, as well.

> - hero 2-hand dedicated paladins + defensive prayers, still cannot tank anywhere near as well as a shield dedicate.

I disagree. Again, I feel you are overexaggerating. "Anywhere near as well?" Come on. And again, if tanking while ranking is your first priority, choose a shield spec.

> - ***** IMPORTANT POINT ***** , even if you land the TD skill, the side affects dont always kick in, as they do on other skills (warrior specs).

Not completely true.

> - With the combination of multiple skills , which all miss a glorified 20-30% of the time, as well as a added (guessing maybee 50%) failure rate of the side affects takeing hold. Do you really claim them to be powerfull and reliable.

Yes. I do. Again, my experience tells me that you are exaggerating on the failure rates. If I am sure the person is not running, I will use a manuever that will maledict him.

> - Your extremly narrow minded if you thinking only of simple pk based disarming. Mobs disarm, 90% of all warriors have a "special way to disarm" , trannys have fumble , the list goes on.

So what? You deal. (Or, rather, if you are not a newbie 25th ranked paladin, you deal.)

> My personaly suggestions:

**snipped all your examples**

I feel your examples are inappropriate because you fail to think of the dedicate skills like an assassins kicks.

Rejuvenate/sleep/all your flawed examples should be compared to wrath/heal/righteousness/et al, not to 2h/shield dedication.

> (****) Id like for Immortals to comment on the reasons as to why the skills miss, and on top of that the side affects rarely take hold if they do land.

Maybe because Paladins do not need to be even more powerful?

Look, if you don't like the specs, don't use them. There's plenty of other things to play with, and next time...

Why don't you just play a shield spec if you think they are so much better?

If what you are suggesting was implemented, Hell yeah, I'd cackle with glee. But I feel it would be unbalanced.

Anyway, both of us see a problem: Can't rely completely on 2h specs. My solution is to look at their positives, compensate for them, and abuse them in the game. Your solution is to plead with the Immortals to make them more powerful. Huh. Let's think on that.
