The most memorable bards are those that contributed to the bardic arts. Kastellyn, a battle bard, did his thing, Pippin did his thing, Amberlea did her thing, hell, even Mendeiron contributed(a little). These bards will be remembered. The Arlians, Arkistos, and so on won't be because they didn't do jack shit other than run around being a warrior that happened to know a few songs.

If you don't utilize the note to all or contribute to the Lyceum, or tell stories or something, you're just someone that thought frightful fiend would pad your pk ratio, and will most likely be forgotten.
