> Carrionfields is about character development, ie putting time into your character. If people didn't have to take time out to master spells and roleplay, what would be the point? Anybody could hit hero in 20 hours. You can login to POS mud and do that exact thing in 0 hours (I'm not knocking POS mud, I think its a fine game).

That is just the point. Why should you have to develop script and have them run for about 100 hours to master everything. Don't tell you never had a time when you would rather be RP, or Gaining Experiance or looking into some type of quest, but no you had to practice, becuase if you didn't you know you are going to be toast the moment you did do any of those things. Hiding in a secluded spot, wacking 100 Kobolds is not my idea of character development.

> Again... this coming from Arolin? What exactly did you bring to the mud that was any different? Admittedly I haven't interacted with any of your characters (knowingly, atleast) in around a year, but _you_ are complaining that people are too focused on eq, and not getting that eq because of lowbie looters? I don't know where to begin with that...

OK who cares who says it, you are spending way to much time getting red in the face because it is Arolin. Does the idea alone have merit. Actually I think it does. Newbie looters just annoy everyone lurking about then getting all that neat stuff crumble because it is just to high for him to use.

Not immortal, your responses have very little meaning to me as everytime you made your comment you tried to get a little dig in on Arolin. Let the past go, look at the idea and see if it has merit. If it doesn't then tell us why, not why you hate Arolin.
