> What's the order of the Immortals from highest to lowest. I've seen Jullias at 60 and Scarabaeus at 59 but what about the others? Are they the only 60 and 59?

Nope.
60: BoltThrower, Galadriel, Pico, Balgrimnr, Jullias, and me (though I like to pretend I'm not :p)
59: Scarabaeus, Sebeok, Selric, Vassagon, Nimbus, Poetry (sure hope I'm not skipping anyone)

> I know Jullias runs CF on his machine but who actually started CF in the first place?

Derit and Rahvin, I believe. Galadriel was in pretty early too.

> And of those who started it who is still around?

Rahvin is still around. Many of the other immortals started playing inside the first year CF was up (pretty much everybody on that above list) so there is definitely still some old school influence around.

> Do all the Immortals actually 'play' the game with mortals?

Most (all?) do at least some of the time. Some do much less than others.

>Seems like it would be fruitless to work so hard on something and not be able to enjoy it.

I wouldn't say fruitless, but definitely less rewarding.

> Also, who was the GrimReaper (or was it just Reaper) back in the first (or was is second) age?

There was both a GrimReaper and a Reaper:
GrimReaper was a low-level newbiekiller type who, if I remember correctly, ran around with FallenAngel 24/7.
Reaper was a high-level (eventually) Master ninja who was actually decent at the game but managed to convince dumb newbie types (including myself) that he was much, much better than was actually the case through shameless and constant self-promotion via now-thankfully-gone notes to all.
