You were thinking small, the real bug was a practicing thing of beauty. If you cast shapeshift dog, pillow or statue, it still cost mana and you got to practice it, even without a form. However, if you cast shapeshift wolf, and you were an offense muter that was going to get the wolf form, eventually, it would cost you NOTHING and still count as a casting. So, not only could you spam shapeshift infinitly without resting, by playing around with the various forms you could tell what forms you would be getting as soon as level 30, even the major form. My last transmuter, like 8 months ago, did this at 30 offense major/air minor. When I tried to shapeshift into a wolf, hawk or lion the spell took zero mana, when i tried to shift into anything else, even a boar or ram, it cost mana. Sure enough, I got those forms at the appropriate levels, too. And yes, before anyone jumps on my case, I did send an email to the imps notifying them about this. Then I went on to master shapeshift, and know what forms I was going to get, in about 35 minutes. Why? Because I could. My first transmuter did it the hard way. And let me tell you, it was worth almost getting banned for exploiting a bug. Shapeshift in 35 mintues. Mmmmmm > You don't have to have any forms to cast shapeshift. > cast 'shapeshift' nothing
