I'm assuming you created a phonebook entry for Carrion Fields? If you haven't, let's do that first. Creating A New Phonebook Entry Making sure local echo is on That's it... Zepachu! > I still can't get local echo to work. I've clicked on just about everything and can not find anything that says 'local echo' anywhere. Hemme.
1) Click Device-> Phone Book. Or press ALT-D.
2) Click New.
3) Under the Call tab put CF in the Name field, carrionfields.org 9999 in the Connect to field and in the drop-down list for Device select Telnet.
4) Click Okay And that's it.
1) Bring up the phone book and highlight CF.
2) Click Edit on the right.
3) Make sure you're on the Call tab and you'll see the entry... CF, carrionfields.org 9999 and Telnet. See where it says Device Options next to Telnet?
4) Click it! Click Device Options. A list of five things will come up. Click the one that says Start session with local echo on and be sure it has a checkmark in the box. Then click Okay.
5) Then click Okay again to get out of editting the entry.
